GENERAL RULES

  1.  The first driver in each class has the option to return in the third position to re-pull.
  2. Drivers must be old enough to drive in a safe and responsible manner on or off the track.
  3. All tractors will be weighed prior to pull.  Weight includes driver.
  4. All tractors must be of the riding type.
  5. Drivers must be with their tractors and in line while their class is being pulled.
  6. All tractors must be stock (patented and factory built .030 oversized will be considered stock bore).  In the event a tractor breaks down, it must be repaired with original factory replacement parts (nothing added or taken away).  If legality of tractor is questioned, a committee may check the tractor as necessary to determine if legal.
  7. If there is any protest, the pulling track officials will decide if it is a legitimate complaint. (Example: engine modifications and etc.)  If the pulling track officials decide it is a legitimate complaint, the protested tractor will be disqualified.
  8. Four wheel drivers can pull but front wheels must be in neutral or any other assist that would power the front wheel.
  9. All tractors must be equipped with a grill, hood and seat.
  10. All weights must be securely fastened.  Any falling off will be a disqualification. No weights on seat.  Front weight boom or weights not to extend over 72” from rear axle.  No weight bar or parts permitted to extend out over 12” to the side of tractor. (Measured from outer sidewall of rear tires).
  11. NO part of the original frame or any part of original equipment that has bolts to the frame can be cut or burned, except the hitch and the exhaust may be turned up.
  12. Judges will inspect all tractors and determine if the tractors are safe and also check for modifications that are illegal.
  13. Weights may be changed from one position to another after weight in, provided no additional weight is added.
  14. Hitch height; maximum hitch height of bottom point 12 inches measure to inside bottom of clevis.  All tractors must be equipped with a 1 inch clevis or equal.
  15. Hitch must be stationary in all directions.
  16. Anti-roll equipment must be on tractor.  This equipment must be made of strong rigid mounted metal bars using two 5” minimum diameter wheels or two 3” x 3” pads a minimum of 6” apart and extended a minimum of 5” to center behind rear tires, with a maximum of 5” from ground to bottom of pad or wheel’s contact point. No part of the anti-roll equipment can interfere with the sled hook up.
  17. If tractors front rise to a point the judges feel endanger the driver, worker or spectators, the judge may stop the pull.
  18. Driver must stop the tractor immediately upon signal from judge or official.
  19. Tractor seat must stay in fixed position during the pull.
  20. All tractors must have stock working brakes capable of safely stopping the tractor.
  21. Random tech checks will be made at all pulling events to ensure tractors are legal.
  22. Judges decision will be final in all situations!  Any disagreement will result in a disqualification from the pull.
  23. All seats must have at least a 3” seat back on all seats.  Seat back must be rigid enough not to flex down excessively when leaned upon.  45 degree angle max.
  24. No portion of the tractor shall interfere with the sled hitch during pull. 
  25. Your tractor must meet all safety and shielding requirements prior to hooking otherwise you will not be allowed to complete and there will be no refund of entry.
  26. Wheelie bar crossbar supports must not in any way be able to touch the hook chain.
  27. Only 1 driver may register for each tractor in each class
  28. **All drivers under the age of 14 must be supervised while operating tractor.  Kids must be able to control tractor to the satisfaction of the sled driver!**
  29. The top four tractors may be checked at the track official’s discretion after each class for weigh, hitch height and RPM’s (in RPM limited classes).   These checks are the drivers’ responsibility for your class begins.  Top drivers must wait at the end of the track until bumped down or class is over.

750 – KIDS ONLY CLASS

  1. All general rules apply.
  2. All tractors must be stock (patented and factory built .030 oversized will be considered stock bore).  In the event a tractor breaks down, it must be repaired with original factory replacement parts (nothing added or taken away).  If legality of tractor is questioned, a committee may check the tractor as necessary to determine if legal.
  3. There will be no governor strings allowed in the clipper class or 0-750 class.
  4. NO part of the original frame or any part of original equipment that has bolts to the frame can be cut or burned, except the hitch and the exhaust may be turned up.
  5. Anti-roll equipment must be on tractor except in clipper class.  This equipment must be made of strong rigid mounted metal bars using two 5” minimum diameter wheels or two 3” x 3” pads a minimum of 6” apart and extended a minimum of 5” to center behind rear tires, with a maximum of 5” from ground to bottom of pad or wheel’s contact point. No part of the anti-roll equipment can interfere with the sled hook up.
  6. All tractors must have a safety kill switch mounted on the rear of the tractor except for clipper class.  Switch must be mounted within 6” of center rear end.  Switch must have a ring that a dog chain hook can be attached.  Switch must disable tractor engine when pin is pulled.  Example: Trailer breakaway switch.
  7. NO alcohol fuel permitted.
  8. Must have full side shields covering both sides of the entire engine.
  9. Engine must be governed at 3800 rpm stock setting.
  10. DOT approved helmet required.

CLIPPER CLASS

  1. All general rules apply.
  2. All tractors must be stock (patented and factory built .030 oversized will be considered stock bore).  In the event a tractor breaks down, it must be repaired with original factory replacement parts (nothing added or taken away).  If legality of tractor is questioned, a committee may check the tractor as necessary to determine if legal.
  3. There will be no governor strings allowed in the clipper class or 0-750 class.
  4. NO part of the original frame or any part of original equipment that has bolts to the frame can be cut or burned, except the hitch and the exhaust may be turned up.
  5. NO alcohol fuel permitted.
  6. Engine must be governed at 3800 rpm stock setting.
  7. Must have a working mower deck and turf tires only.

STOCK CLASSES

No part of the anti-roll equipment can interfere with the sled hook up.

HOT STOCK CLASSES
  1. All general rules apply.
  2. Anti-roll equipment must be on tractor except in clipper class.  This equipment must be made of strong rigid mounted metal bars using two 5” minimum diameter wheels or two 3” x 3” pads a minimum of 6” apart and extended a minimum of 5” to center behind rear tires, with a maximum of 5” from ground to bottom of pad or wheel’s contact point. No part of the anti-roll equipment can interfere with the sled hook up.
  3. All tractors must have a safety kill switch mounted on the rear of the tractor except for clipper class.  Switch must be mounted within 6” of center rear end.  Switch must have a ring that a dog chain hook can be attached.  Switch must disable tractor engine when pin is pulled.  Example: Trailer breakaway switch.
  4. Must have full side shields covering both sides of the entire engine.
  5. DOT approved helmet required.
  6. All tractors must be equipped with a dead man throttle.
  7. A minimum of one 1-pound dry chemical fire extinguisher or equivalent.  The extinguisher can either be dry chemical or CO2 type extinguisher.  A gauge on the fire extinguisher is required.  The fire extinguisher must be full. 
  8. All exhaust must discharge vertically and be securely attached.  No more than 10 degrees out of straight upward allowed.
  9. Fire suits must be worn on all tractors running on alcohol.
  10. Driver must wear fire jacket and long pants on any tractor running over 400RPM.
  11. All pullers must wear long pants.
  12. Able to run all NQS rules except NCRVFC rules will supersede NQS rules.

DIESEL CLASSES
