Rescue Truck 622-1
This 1994 Heavy Rural Rescue Truck carries: 2 jaws of life tools; airbags; farm rescue equipment; a 40KB generator; and confined space equipment. It also has a 40 foot light tower and an air cascade system.
2010 International Chassis, 2000 gallon tank, 1250 gpm front mount pump, new style swing dump - rear dump. Chassis purchased from TriCounty Motors in Johnstown and truck built by 4Guys Inc, Meyersdale. Put in service September 2010. Special thanks to the ladies auxiliary for donating $78,000.00 toward the purchase of the chassis..
Our 2005 Spartan Engine carries 1000 gallons of water and has a 1750 gpm pump. It's cab has an 8 man seating capacity.
Brush/Utility Truck 622-6
This 1978 Brush/Utility Truck carries 275 gallons of water and has a 70 gpm pump. The unit also carries some farm rescue equipment.
This is a 1999 Mack Tanker. It holds 3000 gallons of water and has a 1750 gpm pump.
This 1985 Mack Engine. It holds 1000 gallons of water and has a 2000 gpm pump.
Utility/Bucket Truck 622-9
This is a 1987 Utility/Bucket Truck. This unit was bought used from Somerset Rural Electric Company and refurbished by the fireman. It is mainly used for tree removal and traffic control.
Utility Pickup 622-10
This Ford F350 was purchased through a PEMA grant. It is used to take additional personnel to a fire/accident scene. It is used by the fire police for traffic control. It is also used to pull our gator trailer, special service trailer or Kid’s Safety house.
This is a 2006 ATR. It has an interchangeable body. It has a forestry body for fighting forest and brush fires. It also has an EMS body for aiding in removing patients from the woods or any place we are not able to get our ambulance in to.
Specialized Trailer 622-12
This trailer is our special service trailer. It was purchased through a PEMA grant in 2006. It carries our Hazardous Material Operations Equipment, confined space equipment, search and rescue equipment and can be used as a command post.
